How it all started...
Calvary Chapel Dothan was founded in January of 2016, when the Lord led Anthony and Melissa Rea, to provide the Dothan, AL area with a place of Christian fellowship that centered on verse by verse, expositional Bible teaching for all people. Calvary Chapel Dothan began as an online Bible study that reached across the United States and is now a local church with the same mission – simply teaching the whole Bible, simply.
In 2025, the Lord led for Pastor Anthony to continue his calling at Calvary Chapel Tallahassee. As the Lord led Pastor Anthony, He also provided for Casey and Jessica Kamke, to be set up to lead Calvary Chapel Dothan. Pastor Casey shares his passion for God and His great works through prayer and in teaching of the Bible.
By Jesus’ grace, Casey, his family and the team at Calvary Chapel are committed to teaching the Bible simply, verse by verse, in order to glorify God and equip the saints for every good work.
